The stages of a post
Every post goes through fixed stages: Draft, In review, Changes requested, Approved, Scheduled, Published.
Updated 1 min read
In short
- A new post is a Draft. When it is ready, send it for review: it then shows under In review.
- Whoever may approve clicks Approve or Request changes. With Changes requested you rework the post and send it again.
- Approved means the content is final. Once it has a date, it is Scheduled.
- If the channel is connected to Instagram and Publish automatically is on in the post (Beta, Premium), Draftdeck publishes it at its time and marks it for you. Otherwise Draftdeck reminds you on the day: you post it yourself and mark it as published. On the board, published posts sit folded under Published.
- Approvers, admins, owners and clients can approve – clients always after the team. Writers and everyone above them can schedule and delete.
